During this time, the planned route will be posted on the City website under “News.” Leaf piles should contain only leaves and placed only on the tree lawn area, not in the street or sidewalks. Q. How is snow removed in the City?

During a snowstorm, a five-truck route is in effect, and during a heavy storm there are two trucks per route operating (10 total). If the Police or Fire Departments need assistance in an emergency, the snow plows will be diverted to clear the way. Snow should not be shoveled or blown into the street. When 2” or more of snow is in the forecast, a snow parking ban is in effect. Residents need to also keep sidewalks and the area surrounding fire hydrants clear of snow. More information: Snow Plowing
