Ribbon Cutting at Dyesha’s Royal Princess today, August 2, at 3pm, in the Drug Mart Plaza

08/02/2022 – Avon Lake, Ohio: Today, August 2, at 3:00pm, there will be a ribbon cutting ceremony at Dyesha’s Royal Princess (33382 Walker Rd., Unit I), the newest business in Avon Lake’s Drug Mart Plaza.
Dyesha Parham is a natural hair stylist of more than 20 years. The name Dyesha’s Royal Princess comes from her daughter whose name is Royal. Both Dyesha and her daughter have Princess as a middle name. So when she came up with the name for the hair braiding business, it went perfectly with what she does professionally.
Dyesha’s Royal Princess has a variety of services to offer. Braiding hair is in many ways is an area where Dyesha has been able to restore and build confidence in her customers. “I love to see my visual idea come to life in the styles that I create,” says Parham. “I will be offering natural hair services such as braiding and twists for all hair textures. My salon will hold private suites that expand within hair, health and beauty.”

Dyesha sought out this space in Avon Lake because of the potential customer base in the community. “This location will be ideal for my business as I will be able to stamp my footprint in area that is progressively growing and also a diverse community,” she says. “I will be able to service all cultures. I am very excited that my business will be a part of the conversation. There is no limit to the individuals that I have served and will potentially gain as new clients. I take much pride in the clientele that I have gained thus far, from all ages, young adults and elderly clientele.”

The City of Avon Lake celebrates Dyesha’s Royal Princess as well as the continued growth of the Drug Mart Plaza. “Two years ago, this plaza had strong activity at its east end but it tapered off closer to Moore Road,” says Ted Esborn, Avon Lake’s Community Development Director. “With the addition of Game On in 2021, anchoring that west side of the plaza, and now the addition of Dyesha’s Royal Princess in the middle of the plaza, we are going to see strong activity spread across this retail center.”
