On Friday, May 24, at 10:00am, Studio DaVinci, the new business next to Salad KraZe at the 690 Avon Belden plaza, will have its ribbon cutting.
Alessia Lloyd, owner of Studio DaVinci, went to school to study art and architecture, and she has always loved making things. She used to own a studio in Avon called Kreation Station. She has been doing custom design work for twenty years. She and her family have called Avon Lake home since 2008 and her husband grew up in Avon Lake. When she found out about the space on Rt. 83 next to Salad KraZe, she knew that it would be perfect, for Avon Lake residents and for people coming into Avon Lake from outside the community.
The vision with Studio DaVinci is simply to bring art to everyone. “There’s no right or wrong way to create,” says Lloyd, “creativity is intelligence having fun and everyone should feel comfortable creating.” Studio DaVinci is a creative space for artists of all ages and ability levels. They offer classes, parties and special events for up to 40 people in their studio and can travel to someone wanting an offsite event. They also offer a wide range of custom designed apparel, home decor and jewelry. It can be a Taylor Swift themed birthday party, a painting class for a dozen first time artists or a beach glass class for Lake Erie enthusiasts. No matter the type of creative fun you're seeking, Studio DaVinci is the answer.
“We pride ourselves on outstanding customer service and excellent communication,” says Lloyd. “We will work with an event host or birthday guest to plan the perfect celebration that checks every box on their list. We can customize any celebration or class to include everything you are looking for and give your guests a unique experience they will not find anywhere else. We offer so many different projects and themes and we can offer suggestions to fit any budget. Our staff is friendly and knowledgeable so even a first-time artist will feel prepared to create something special. We can teach new skills and methods or help a well-established artist hone their craft. We strive to encourage all guests to explore their creative possibilities no matter their age or previous experiences. Anyone can be an artist and we love to be part of the creative process!”
