Job Title: Seasonal Worker
Department: Public Works
Immediate Supervisor: Assistant Director of Public Works

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: The City of Avon Lake is seeking temporary seasonal employees. This part-time, temporary work will include various daily, scheduled and emergent maintenance on city properties, operation of small hand tools, clearing of brush, leaves, ice and snow as directed, storm water management work including ditch cleaning crew. Students and those looking for a flexible work schedule are encouraged to apply.

Regular work hours will be Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with some weekend hours on occasion. Hours will vary with weather conditions.

QUALIFICATIONS: Prior experience helpful but not required. State of Ohio valid driver’s license required. Required to pass a background check and drug test. 

Salary: Rate of pay - $17 per hour (DPQ)
