Community Shred Day
The Avon Lake's Community Shred Day event will be held on May 18, 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., at the Ellen Trivanovich Aquatic Center parking lot,
For those that are unable to attend the Avon Lake Shred Day event, the Lorain County Collection Center offers document shredding for Lorain County residents during regular business hours. More information can be found at www.LorainCountyOhio.gov/519/Paper-Shredding.
For Avon Lake's Community Shred Day, each household may bring up to five standard size copy paper boxes OR five grocery-sized bags of personal, confidential documents. Please, stay in your car!
Items acceptable for shredding:
- Bank information and canceled checks
- Outdated bills
- Medical information
- Staples & small paper clips
- Obsolete invoices
- Mortgage and loan information
- Letters, envelopes, ledgers
- Other clean paper
